— Getting In —
Option 1: Fly into California Redwood Coast - Humboldt County Airport (ACV) in Arcata, California.
Take a connecting flight from San Francisco International Airport in California to Humboldt County Airport, as there are no direct flights.
From Humboldt County Airport, drive* 1.5 hours to Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park.
*If you do not plan to drive, carpool accommodations are available for this option
Option 2: Fly into Rogue Valley International - Medford Airport (MFR) in Jackson County, Oregon.
Take a connecting flight from Salt Lake City International Airport in Utah to Medford Airport, as there are no direct flights.
From Medford Airport, drive 2 hours to Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park.
Option 3: Fly into Del Norte County Airport (CEC) in Crescent City, California.
Take a connecting flight from Oakland International Airport to Del Norte County Airport, as there are no direct flights.
Please note that there is only ONE flight scheduled per day. In the unlikely event the weather conditions in Oakland cause the flight to be cancelled, you will likely have to get on the flight the following day.
Best practice for guests coming from outside California: You can take a flight to San Francisco International Airport, and then drive, taxi, or take the train to Oakland International Airport in California.
From Del Norte County Airport, drive* 15 minutes to Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park.
*If you do not plan to drive, carpool accommodations are available for this option
Option 4: Fly into San Francisco International Airport (SFO) in San Francisco, California.
Take a direct or connecting flight to San Francisco International Airport in California.
From the San Francisco International Airport, drive 6-7 hours to Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park. (We recommend taking U.S. Route 101 for scenic sea/beach/forest/lake view. And yes, you can see all of those things at once!)
— Car Rental Options —
California Redwood Coast - Humboldt County Airport (ACV): Try National, Enterprise, Avis, or Budget. They all have similar ratings.
Rogue Valley International - Medford Airport (MFR): Seems like the best car rentals are National and Enterprise.
Del Norte County Airport (CEC): This airport is the most friendly for those not driving. For car service when you land, check out Coastal Cab Company at https://g.co/kgs/WntfhsT. If driving, you can try Avis.
San Francisco International Airport (SFO): We have used Sixt, which was reliable and offers advance check-in. However, National and Enterprise also seem good. Note the car rental center is only accessible by shuttle train from your terminal, and you should plan to budget extra time. See here.

Commute from Airbnb to Templeman Grove: 25 minutes
Commute from Templeman Grove to Stout Grove: 45 minutes
Commute from Stout Grove to Airbnb: 50 minutes
The trolley service is not available during any other dates/times. Therefore, you will need to either drive or request carpool accommodations from Johnny and Jenny if you do not plan to drive during the following times:
From the airport* to the Airbnb (*carpool accommodations are available only for certain airports, as described above in Getting In)
From the Airbnb to the rehearsal/welcome dinner (September 3, 2025), if you choose to attend and travel is needed
From the Airbnb to the airport* if your flight is on the day after the wedding (September 5, 2025) (*see above)
Any emergency transportation needed on the day of the wedding that the trolley cannot accommodate
There will be a charcuterie board, wine, and other beverages served on the trolley rides.
If you brought a change of shoes (e.g., hiking shoes and dress shoes), layers, umbrellas, etc., you can leave it on the trolley during photoshoots.
It is a vintage-style and colorful trolley, approximately 10 feet by 30 feet.
